1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no connection to a public office. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official checks, or files documents for visitors.

Its content directs readers to the Rappahannock County Sheriff's Office, RSW Regional Jail, local court clerks, Virginia State Police, and the Virginia Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry. Government access remains subject to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and state criminal-history dissemination remains subject to Code § 19.2-389. Some pages also provide access to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information found here or through a linked tool must not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate. Such conduct may be criminal. Virginia's Registry Act, including Code Title 9.1, Chapter 9, limits misuse of Virginia Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry data. That information supports lawful public awareness, never confrontation, retaliation, or unlawful discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A check required for an FCRA-regulated purpose must come from an authorized, compliant source, not from this site or its general search tools.
